Katherine has a BS in Molecular Genetic Technology from the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer center. She joined the lab in September 2009 as a Research Aassistant and then entered to Comparative Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program in August 2012. Her main interest in the lab relates to the biology of histiocytic malignancies in canine and human patients.
When not in the lab, she enjoys camping and hiking, as well as volunteering with animal shelters.
