Rachael Thomas

Originally from the UK, Rachael received her first-class honors degree in Biology from the University of Bath in 1996 and her PhD in Molecular Biology and Cytogenetics from the University of Leicester in 2000. Following a postdoc in the UK at the Animal Health Trust, she moved to NC State University in 2004. Since that time Rachael has been responsible for developing and applying a variety of technologies and applying these to investigate a variety of animal cancers. Rachael also manages the day-to-day activities of the lab and has been a consistent source of rigorous training and mentorship to our lab members.
