Yamini is from Houston, Texas. Majoring in genetics with a minor in microbiology, she is currently working on testing mosquitoes from the Galapagos for the presence vector-borne diseases. Yamini is also an ambassador for the University Honors Program (UHP). After graduation she hopes to attend medical school and become an oncologist/primary care physician. In her free time Yamini enjoys cooking and learning new languages.
