Maddy is from Salisbury, MD and is currently an undergraduate student working on her BS in Biological Sciences here at NC State with minors in Genetics and Spanish. At home, she worked at a zoo in the conservation education department and many farms caring for horses, inspiring her passion for animals. She is interested in animal genetic research and how this can aid conservation. In her free time Maddy enjoys crocheting, reading, and playing video games.
